Thursday- I'm pretty sure I only like Thursday's because I know there's now only one more day until Friday, and Friday means the weekend...and well you know.
Anyways, as I get use to this new blog idea and my style as a blogger- I'm sure my first few blogs will be somewhat scatter-brained. Stay with me though, it will be worthwhile I promise.
First things first......
HAIR PRODUCT OF THE DAY:
Moroccan Oil- It's absolutely amazing! It comes in two types, depending on what your natural or colored ( for those who happen to be chemically addicted..say "I") primary pigment is. Brunettes, redheads and warm ( golden) blonds they offer the "original formula" which has a natural yellow pigment in it. And for those who have lighter hair color- platinum blonds, or hi-lites that you paid too much to have them go golden- a "light formula" where they have drastically reduced the yellow pigment. Either way it's like crack for your hair. Seriously addicted.
You can find it in two different sizes from just under an ounce, to 4 ounces, and prices ranging from $7- $40+
Onto Health....
I can easily say that I have spent the better part of the last 5 years obsessed with eating healthy. I've spent countless hours researching food, what's good for you, what's bad for you, and why. And I've also become a.... *GASP* " no red-meat" eater. Which I have gotten more crap than a laxative for. And the biggest thing I learned? Eating healthy.... scratch that being healthy is a lifestyle choice.
A few of my main points I want to start out with - trying not to cram 5 years of what I've learned into one post- are portion control, writing down ( mental notes once you get the hang of it) everything, I mean EVERYTHING you consume, lots and lots of water, and just simply reading the labels on the food your consume.
Sounds crazy but these things make a HUGE difference.
I've also came across some pretty helpful books along the way, EAT THIS NOT THAT!!!!
They have a few different editions for when you're grocery shopping, at restaurants, ect. It's a great start on getting a good idea of what exactly is in the foods you're consuming on a daily basis, calories, fat, preservatives, ect.
If you're interested in picking up a copy for yourself you can find them here.
Last but not least humor.....
What my previous post wasn't funny enough for you? I don't know about you guys, but I can always use an extra dose of funny in the winter! Click here to laugh =)
Enjoy!
As always, comments and suggestions are not only welcomed but strongly encouraged =)
Is anyone out there?
